Free Thermal Imaging Scan Included – A $150 VALUE

Buyer’s Inspection

This inspection is for prospective homebuyers who need a better understanding of a property’s condition before following through with a purchase. During our inspection services, we’ll evaluate the home’s visible and readily accessible areas for any defective components, improper materials, or other safety concerns.

A free thermal imaging scan is included with the inspection at no extra cost—a $150 value! Thermal imaging technology allows us to view a visual readout of a scanned area’s temperature gradient, revealing sources of possible moisture intrusion, electrical issues, or energy loss. A moisture meter may also be used.

Along with our comprehensive inspection report, we include a free home maintenance manual for homeowners as a gift for every client.

In accordance with InterNACHI’s Standards of Practice, we inspect the following areas

  • Roofing System
  • Basement
  • Structural Components
  • Foundation & Crawl Spaces
  • Driveways & Walkways
  • Garage
  • Deck
  • Exterior (cladding, doors, windows, soffits, fascias)
  • Interior (doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, stairs)

New Construction Inspection

Before it’s time to settle into your new home, it’s important to make sure that everything is in good condition. This inspection is best to schedule just before the builder performs their final walkthrough. We’ll evaluate the property’s structure and readily accessible systems for any issues that need addressed before the keys are in your hands.

New Construction Phase Inspections

Phase Inspections typically take place during several stages of the construction process on a new home. We’ll arrive to the property prior to the foundation pour, again before drywall installation, and one final time before the builder’s final walkthrough. For each inspection, we’ll be looking for any issues that need addressed before progress continues—keeping your investment protected and the construction timeline on track.

11th Month Warranty Inspection

If you’ve recently bought a brand new home, then chances are that it was protected by a 1-year warranty issued by the builder. This inspection should be scheduled before that first year is up to make sure that no defects have occurred since you moved in. If we do discover any issues, this will give you a chance to consult the terms of your warranty to see if you’re exempt from a percentage of the repair costs.

Re-Inspections

Re-Inspections are a great way to ensure that a component found to be defective during our original inspection has been replaced or modified in a safe and effective manner. We’ll assess any changes that have been made to check for any additional defects or safety issues—enabling you to have complete peace of mind with your investment.

Radon Testing

This service is referred out to a local specialist who will make sure that your current or prospective home is safe from radon contamination. Radon is an odorless and invisible radioactive gas that forms deep underground, potentially rising up through the surface and into unsuspecting homes. Numerous health problems can transpire as a result of radon exposure, so it’s extremely important to have a home evaluated as soon as possible.

Sewer Scope Inspections

This service is performed by one of the best contractors in the area to determine if a home’s sewer system is in good condition. A specialized camera will be inserted directly into the sewer system to see if there are any damaged areas or blockages that need to be addressed for the system to function safely and correctly.

Chimney Inspection

For this service, a specialist will be contracted to perform a thorough evaluation of a home’s chimney. This will protect you from investing in a home that has an inefficient or potentially unsafe chimney—giving you a chance to address any issues with the seller.

Proudly Serving the Twin Cities & Western Wisconsin

We offer comprehensive home inspections to Minneapolis, St. Paul, Stillwater, White Bear Lake, Woodbury, Shoreview, Maplewood, Roseville, Plymouth, Eden Prairie, and the surrounding areas.
